Weekend Tournament Watch

Lady Raider Classic

Site: Warren East

Teams participating: #3 Henderson County*, #7 Reidland, #18 Union County, #24 Larue County*, Warren East, Franklin-Simpson, St. Mary, McLean County, Meade County, Eastern*, Oldham County*
Note: * denotes team listed under "Warren East Invitational" on KHSAA's website

Analysis: This Bowling Green tournament is certainly the marquee tournament for this weekend, drawing four ranked teams. While most eyes are on Henderson County and Reidland, I have my eyes on Union County and Larue County, who both have been hard chargers during the middle part of the season. Expect a competitive tournament.

Pick to win: #7 Reidland

Darkhorse(s): St. Mary, Franklin-Simpson

Paul Dunbar Round Robin

Site: Dunbar

Teams participating: #10 Male, #14 Dunbar, #21 Scott County

Analysis: It's not exactly a tournament, but it'll be a good look at two of the best in the 11th region and one of the best in the 7th. Expect some competitive games between these three teams.

Other tournaments to watch...

4th Annual McDonald's Derby Classic
Defender Classic
Harrison County Invitational
Lady Knights Memorial Tournament
Border War Tournament
Jaguar Classic
