Anybody who saw Mercy play on Friday or Saturday night saw the state tournament favorite and one of the best high school outfields I've ever seen. They've been the best team in the 7th region all year and now they seem to have raised their game a few notches. Ballard and Assumption didn't even look like they belonged on the same field with Mercy.
